At ID-ware, you are that person.
We are looking for an accurate and proactive Logistics Employee to take charge of our shipping. You prepare and send our national and international shipments, you are the point of contact for our carriers, you keep the production department supplied from the warehouse, and you make sure incoming goods and new orders are booked correctly in Sage.
From goods-in to dispatch: thanks to your work our logistics run efficiently and customers receive the quality and service they expect from ID-ware.
Your role
You are part of our logistics team in The Hague, and you are the link between the warehouse, production, sales and our carriers. Goods, information and paperwork all pass through your hands, so accuracy matters.No two days are the same. One day you process incoming goods and supply the production department, the next you are packing shipments for UPS and PostNL or working through new orders in Sage.
What will you be doing?
Shipping and dispatch
- Preparing outgoing national and international shipments, including packing and labelling (UPS / PostNL).
- Keeping in contact with the transport services (UPS / PostNL).
- Operating the card fulfilment machine, which automatically attaches cards to the letter and places them into the envelope.
Goods-in and order administration
- Checking incoming goods and booking them into Sage.
- Processing new orders according to the order list in Sage.
- Supplying the production department with materials from the warehouse, such as cards and print ribbons.
